Limbert Fabian

This submission entitled Shine comes from illustrator/designer and motion director Limber Fabian. Born and raised in New York City, Limbert studied at Ringling School of Art and Design with the intention of becoming an animator, though found illustration and the ability to utilize different mediums seemed to offer him the best opportunity to find a voice. After an exciting career start as a freelance illustrater for the likes of Playboy, The Village Voice and Scholastic Books, Limbert continued to dabble with the moving picture and eventually found a home at Reel FX Creative Studios where he was able to blossom as a director and is currently Creative Director and as well Head of Design at their satellite studio, Radium. Limbert's work has been published in American Illustration, Society of Illustrators and Communication Arts, has had three one-man shows, and his commercials have aired on TV. Having pondered the core idea of this project, Limbert concluded that these young kids are all bright young minds sometimes buried under adversity -- truly diamonds in the rough, and all they need is for someone to let them shine.
