David O'Keefe

This illustration titled The Beatles is by pop culture artist David O’Keefe. A self-taught artist, David has been drawing celebrities since he was a kid.  Way back when he was just like any other ten year old boy obsessed with football and art, his dad would take him to celebrity golf tournaments and have him caricature famous athletes and celebrities. Fast forward to 2010, and O’Keefe is still focused on celebrity caricature.  David's sculpted illustrations have appeared on the covers of Mad Magazine, Sports Illustrated and The Village Voice and he has won numerous awards from organizations such as The Society of Illustrators (New York and Los Angeles), American Illustration, Communication Arts and Dimensional Illustrators, to name just a few. His company, David O’Keefe Studios currently operates a solo Pop Culture Icons gallery on St. Armands Circle in Sarasota Florida.
