This charming painting is a portal into the world of award winning children’s book illustrator Tim Bowers. From his childhood interest in art, an active imagination and an interest in storytelling Tim's career in illustration was born. Graduating with a BFA from Columbus College of Art and Design in Ohio, Tim began his career in advertising and editorial illustration, spending five years working in various humor groups, and as a core member of Shoebox Greetings at Hallmark. For the past 25 years, Tim has been creating artwork primarily for the children's book market and the social expression industry, with his characters appearing on hundreds of greeting cards and illustrations in numerous picture books. Tim and his family live in Granville, Ohio where he continues to illustrate children’s books, and each year he travels to schools and libraries to share his artwork with students.
