Clayton Stillwell
This haunting illustration is by the imaginative artist Clayton Stillwell. A native of Chicago, Illinois, Clayton attended Ringling School of Art and Design. Though he started as a computer animation student, Clayton ultimately earned a BFA in Illustration. After an internship with Electronic Arts in Florida, Clayton landed a job with Blue Sky Studios where he is currently a Visual Development Artist and has designed for such films as Horton Hears a Who! and Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs. His first solo exhibition at age 21, Clayton continues to contribute to and exhibit his art in shows across the country, such as Travis Louie's Monster? Show at Copro Gallery and the Totoro Forest Project. A big fan of movies and the history channel, Clayton claims never to have finished a book, and learned human anatomy by drawing from cadavers.
More of Clayton's art can be found at his blog and website.
